ADMISSION OF STUDENTS

General Conditions
i) Admission is given without any distinction of religion, caste, race, place of birth, social status, etc. Normally admission is done at the beginning of the academic year. The Principal has the discretion to decide on admission.
A student seeking admission to any class will be eligible if he/she :
Has been studying in an English Medium school recognized by/affiliated to the CBSE/or any other equivalent board of a State/Union territory.
Has passed the qualifying or equivalent exams making him /her eligible for admission to that class.
Satisfies the requirement of age limit.
Has produced a valid TC from the school last attended and counter signed by the education authorities (State board /CBSE/ICSE) as and when required
ii) Admission procedure
a) A student shall be admitted when an application in the prescribed form signed by his/her parents/guardian has been submitted.
b) The parent/guardian shall state the date of birth of the child in the application form and the same shall be supported by the birth certificate from the local authority. No change in the date of birth shall be entertained later. Parent/ Guardian must be careful with regard to the child’s name and details entered in the application form.
c) Students seeking admission on the basis of TC from another school, the TC details will be treated as final. The TC details should tally with the Birth Certificate
d) Every application for admission submitted forms part of the permanent record of the school.
e) A newly admitted student shall have his name entered in the roll of the school on the date he first attends the class after making payments of all specified dues.
f.) Admission numbers are allotted to students on their admission and each student must retain this number till he/she leaves the school. In case of withdrawal and re-admission a new admission number is given.
iii) T.C & Character/Conduct Certificate are to be produced for class II admission onwards.
iv) Caution Deposit: Caution deposit is refundable without interest at the time of leaving the school.
v)Duplicate T.C. : A duplicate copy of the T.C. may be issued if the principal is satisfied that the original is irrecoverably lost. It shall always be so marked.
Parent/Guardian shall be solely responsible for consequences that follow any willful misrepresentation or wrong entry of facts in the application.
vi)Admission to Pre-primary Montessori I ( Bal Vatika ) : A child seeking admission to Montessori must be of the age of 3 years as on 1st March of the year. Registration for Montessori begins in December. The birth certificate (Original), a Photocopy of the same, two passport size photographs of the child seeking admission should be brought, when the parents/guardian and the child meet the principal for admission.
vii.Admission to Other classes: Admission to other classes is done on the basis of existing vacancies and on the basis of merit. Candidate seeking admission should convince the principal that he/she is eligible and competent to follow this stream of studies.
viii. Age Limit : For admission to Class I, the age stipulated by the state govt. shall be followed. For other classes the corresponding age limit will be maintained.
ix)Admission to Class XI : Admission to class XI begins after the declaration of the Class X Board exam (AISSE) results.
x)Withdrawal of Students : Two weeks notice is required for issuing a T.C. Requisition must be made by the parent/guardian of the student. T.C. will be issued only when student has settled all dues to the school.
