INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY – JUNE 21

MES Campus School observed International Yoga Day on June 21 with special programmes dedicated to promoting the importance of yoga in everyday life. The event was inaugurated by the School Principal, Mrs. Sunita Nair, who addressed the gathering and emphasized the role of yoga in cultivating a healthy body and a calm mind. The Primary Headmistress, Mrs. Priya S. Nair, graced the occasion and extended her support to the initiative. The programme also featured an inspiring motivational talk by the School Joint Secretary, Ali Sir, who spoke about the numerous benefits of yoga for both physical and mental well-being.
A major highlight of the celebration was the interactive yoga session led by renowned Yoga Trainer Shri Shambu Namboothiri. With his expert guidance, students and staff enthusiastically performed a series of asanas and breathing exercises, learning valuable techniques to enhance their health and focus. The event successfully created awareness about the holistic benefits of yoga and encouraged the school community to incorporate it into their daily routines for a balanced and healthier lifestyle.
